M3 Lee
The M3 Lee was born out of necessity during World War II. The United States had been caught off guard by the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor, and the country's military was woefully unprepared for a large-scale conflict. The M3 Lee was designed as a stopgap measure to fill the gap between the light tanks and the heavy tanks that were already in service.
